HappyLandGifts started in Augsburg in 2016 with a simple idea: to surprise people with a personal gift that brings lasting happiness. Two families and three generations built something special together. Today we are HappyLandGifts Inc., a US company based in Miami Beach. Our land gifts connect people with real places around the world. We have grown internationally while staying a family business, with the same wish: that giving the gift makes you as happy as the person you surprise.

Frequently asked questions

Is the land real, and can you visit it?

Yes. The recipient receives a small share in a real property and may visit and use the whole HappyLand property. The rules of each location apply; building or permanently changing the property is not allowed.

Do I need a notary?

No. You do not need a notary appointment or an official land registry entry. HappyLandGifts remains the legal owner and manages the property. The recipient receives the stated rights of possession, access and use.

What is included in Digital, Comfort and Premium?

Digital: a personalised PDF certificate by email to print yourself. Comfort: a printed black-and-white certificate with their name, land information and a gift tube. Premium: a colour certificate, optional dedication, gift tube and three times the land share included with Comfort.

Is the price a one-off payment?

Yes. You pay for the land gift once, plus any applicable shipping costs. Neither you nor the recipient pays ongoing property management costs. HappyLandGifts covers these.

How will I receive my land gift?

Digital is delivered as a personalised PDF by email. Comfort and Premium are personalised and sent by post. Availability and delivery times depend on the delivery country. If you need the gift by a specific date, check the shipping information before buying.

Do I need to register the land before giving the gift?

No. The recipient registers their land later using the number on their certificate in the HappyLand Register. You choose the gift and the name for the certificate, and can give it straight away.
